A welcome greeting, an apology as staff were attending others, followed by an efficient booking in process (coupled with a friendly smile from Simon). Later my car was ready for pick-up earlier than expected and, given the heat of the day, on my arrival I was immediately offered a bottle of water.
The need to resolve a warranty matter was dealt with efficiently.
And, prior and after all above, the telephone reception staff was pleasant, not unnecessarily chatty but made me feel she was keen to help.

I guess not too many customers really understand what goes on under the bonnet of their car and can't vouch for technical excellence. However, most customers do understand customer service excellence, and the service team at Jarvis Adelaide hit this target consistently. Not many businesses in Adelaide - from hotels to restaurants to department stores - could claim the same.
