I called Jarvis Ford's Spare Parts division at Norwood on 31 July 2014 with a request that is perhaps a bit out of the ordinary. By way of explanation, my wife and I recently purchased a BA Ford Fairmont from a couple who live in a near-city location. The vehicle unfortunately does not have its service booklet. The couple we purchased the vehicle from had quite a bit of service history for it and passed that to us. Amongst this documentation are records that show the vehicle was originally sold new by Jefferson Ford in South Melbourne. After approximately two years it was acquired by Jarvis and a little later was sold to an elderly couple who lived in North Brighton - they sold it to the couple from whom we bought the vehicle.
I rang your Spare Parts division to inquire if you might have had a new service booklet available in stock. I spoke to Ryan Harvey and found him to be very helpful and knowledgeable. During the conversation I had with Ryan I asked him if he knew of any website that I could go to in order to obtain information that would enable me to de-code the vehicle ID plate for the Fairmont. Ryan actually went well beyond that and not only emailed me detailed details about Ford's vehicle coding for the BA/BF models, but also sent technical information about our Fairmont from Jarvis' own data base. His efforts are greatly appreciated.
Ryan's customer service standards were impeccable and he is an asset to your company.

The attitude of staff has always been very deserving of compliment. In addition, my car is always well serviced, I am always asked what I would like to be included with the service. I am always consulted by phone should any extra work be needed on the car. There is never any pressure, and upon collecting my car, I am always told the status of the service and condition of my vehicle.

Lewis was excellent in the management and delivery of the two Ford focus vehicles and displayed a very relaxed and professional manner which made the purchase so enjoyable.
