Suzuki’s aggressive retail offers throughout March, have resulted in a 28% increase in YTD growth from 2014.
A consistently strong performer for Suzuki, the ANCAP 5-Star Swift with over 1,200 sales this month, representing a 56% YTD increase from 2014 year on year. Light segment buyers took advantage of the 6 Day Sale & Blockbuster Deals retail campaign “Swift continues to offer the best value in the light segment” said Andrew Moore, Suzuki’s General Manager of Automobiles.
Jimny Sierra, Suzuki’s compact 4WD had growth in excess of 100% year on year due a number of contributing factors including a minor model change last year seeing the addition of ESC & alloys as standard. With increased attention in the media and ESC inclusion allowing sales in Victoria, it has significantly improved market awareness.
Not to be outdone, Suzuki’s S-Cross had a significant 43% increase compared to last year which Moore, says is due to the small SUV segment gaining traction.
“With the all new Vitara and Celerio launching this year, new and exciting concept cars iK-2 and iM-4 premiered at the Geneva Motor Show and our strong sales results, it all indicates continued growth for Suzuki Australia” states Moore.
