Å KODA Octavia is Drives Family Car of the Year (432)

After an impressive first full year in Australia, SKODA’s critically acclaimed all-new Octavia has notched up another award for its growing trophy collection, winning in the all-important Family Car category of Drive’s annual Car of the Year Awards.

With its impressive list of standard features, fuel efficiency and excellent value-for-money, the Octavia impressed judges triumphing against last year’s overall Drive Car of the Year winner.

Speaking on the award, Director of Š KODA Australia, Michael Irmer, said: “This has been a great first full year for our all-new Octavia, and we at Š KODA Australia are all very proud of all the Octavia has achieved so far, but we’re not through yet. Next year we look forward to expanding on our local Octavia range with a new model and continuing to grow our business in Australia.”

Drive’s Car of the Year awards recognises the year’s best vehicles in 13 categories, assessing 42 vehicles over 20,000 kilometres of testing at Goulburn’s Wakefield Park.
