Ford Performance is back (1084)

The words 'Ford' and 'Performance' have always been intertwined from the beginning and it’s great to have such a strong connection with the performance car category all these years on. The new Ford Performance Range has just arrived in our showroom and it's bringing in a wide range of customers from old Ford Loyalist’s to Brand New Ford customers. Here now we have the Fiesta ST, Focus ST and the Limited Edition, Mustang R-Spec. Below you'll find a quick summary about each vehicle.

Fiesta ST

Fiesta is back in Australia and it’s a welcome return. It just hasn’t come back to putter around the streets though… it’s here to make an impact! Looking fantastic in the new Ford Performance Blue and sporting unique features, including: 18 Inch Alloy Wheels, RECARO Sport Seats, Selectable Drive Modes, Active Valve Exhaust System and B&O Sound System. The Fiesta just doesn’t look great, it also has the drive to back it up. The Fiesta is powered by the Ford 1.5L EcoBoost Engine that has 147kw, 290Nm of Torque and coupled with the 6 speed manual transmission. Read more about the Ford Fiesta ST.

Ford Focus ST

A stable of the Focus range since back with the XR5 in eye blistering orange. The new Focus ST features: 19 Inch Alloy Wheels, RECARO Seats, B&O Sound System, Launch Control, Continuously Controlled Damping Suspension and can be purchased in 6 Speed manual or the new 7 Speed Automatic. Powering the Focus ST is the same Ford 2.3L 4 cylinder turbo engine that currently runs in the High Performance Mustang. This engine has 206kw, 420nm of torque which propels the ST from 0 to 100 in 5.7 seconds.Read more about the Ford Focus ST.

Mustang R-SPEC

The Limited edition Mustang R-Spec is the true definition of a 'Muscle Car'. Limited to only 500 units nationwide, seeing these vehicles on the road will be a rare occurrence. Powered by the 5.0L Mustang Coyote engine which is normally powerful enough, but this car has had the team at Herrod Performance give it the old once over. Now equipped with 2.65L supercharger kit running around 12PSI of boost, the Mustang R-Spec now achieves over 500kw, over 800Nm of Torque and close to 700 Horsepower.
