New Impreza Scores Interior (726)

The new generation Subaru Impreza is listed among 2017’s 10 Best Interiors by respected North American automotive insights and analysis provider WardsAuto.

The United States specification Impreza joined a prestigious list including Bentley and Maserati to be recognised for interior design and styling, and easy-to-use multimedia.

The seventh annual competition, published on www.wardsauto.com, recognizes outstanding achievement in aesthetics, comfort, ergonomics, materials usage, fit-and-finish and user-friendly electronics.

There is no price cap and the nominees consist of interiors that are all-new or have been significantly improved from the prior year. 31 interiors were eligible in 2017.

It is Subaru’s first spot in Wards 10 Best Interiors, with the Impreza cabin design following the brand’s “Dynamic x Solid” philosophy - creating a bold and refined theme with continuous form throughout the cabin.

The new Subaru design direction is emphasised by a clean, intuitive centre stack with multi-function display, centre air vents, updated multimedia system and climate control.

In the U.S., Impreza is also the only small car to earn top ratings in all Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) evaluations and, when equipped with EyeSight® driver assist technology and steering responsive headlights, it is an IIHS 2017 TOP SAFETY PICK+.
