ANCAP Awards Isuzu D-MAX & MU-X Five Star Safety Rating (291)

The Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) today awarded a five-star safety rating to the Isuzu D-MAX ute and All-New Isuzu MU-X seven-seater SUV. This rating applies to all 4x4 D-MAX crew cab variants built from November 2013 and all 4x4 MU-X models.

“This is a great result for the company as we head into an exciting new chapter of our short history here in Australia,” said Isuzu UTE Australia’s Managing Director Yasuhiro Takeuchi.

“More and more businesses in the light commercial market are demanding maximum safety for their employees and contractors through safer vehicles – so today’s announcement will re-open some doors for us in the new year that have been held ajar pending today’s results.

“The five-star ANCAP award for our new MU-X SUV also illustrates our safety commitment to families and 4WD enthusiasts with our foray into the passenger vehicle market,” Mr Takeuchi added.
