The RSPCA’s Safe Kennels Program provides emergency boarding for pets of women and families living in a domestic violence situation who otherwise would not leave their home for fear their bellowed pet will be harmed. On November 7, 2016, Jarvis Subaru hosted a fundraising event for the program with Rosie Batty, Former Australian of the Year and campaigner against domestic violence, as special guest speaker. A massive $152,435 was raised on the night.
