Multi-information display
Kluger’s Multi-information Display gives you a handy, at-a-glance view of all the important car information you need when on the move. You have the added convenience of the rear view camera display# for reversing. You can also monitor your journey and fuel consumption with the convenience of a trip computer. On Grande and KX-S models the MID also displays your climate control settings. Everything's displayed clearly on the in-dash 3.5 inch colour screen.

Car Bluetooth™##
Staying in touch while you’re on the move is easier, safer and more convenient with Kluger’s inbuilt Bluetooth™## connectivity. This in car technology seamlessly transfers calls from your compatible mobile phone to your car’s audio system for hands-free calling.
Cruise control
Maintaining legal speed limits can be a challenge on long stretches of highway when you’re enjoying the drive. But with Kluger’s cruise control system, just set your desired speed, and let your car do all the hard work for you. This car technology helps you maintain your preferred speed without constant throttle adjustments and continually checking your speedo.
Keyless entry
With Kluger Grande’s Smart Entry system, you can leave the key in your pocket or handbag, Smart Entry will detect that you have the key and allow you to unlock the door by "touch". So you can get the kids, the dogs and the shopping into the car quickly and hassle-free.
Push button start
With Kluger Grande’s Smart Start button you can really move off in a hurry. Once you’re inside your Kluger, all you have to do is make sure your car’s transmission is in the Park position, step on the brake, push the start button on the dash and off you go.
Satellite Navigation^

Kluger’s sparkling audio system is music to your ears. There are single, four or six stack CD players, depending on the model. All have 3.5mm audio input# and USB** audio input as well as Bluetooth™* hands-free connectivity with your compatible mobile phone.

Family Car
7 seater
The 7-seat Kluger is a stylish and versatile vehicle that’s perfect for a large family and has the flexibility of many different seating and load configurations. This family car doesn’t lose any of its appeal as an outstanding performer being quite at home blazing trails through the urban jungle or tackling muddy country roads. A third row seat allowing seating for up to seven is standard on KX-S and Grande models and is optional on KX-R.
7 airbags^
Accidents can happen but passive car safety can prevent serious injuries. All Kluger models are equipped with 7 airbags which are designed to cushion the blow, reducing the impact of an accident and help protect everyone inside.

Conversation Mirror
Kluger’s conversation mirror is an overhead convex mirror that provides convenience at a glance. Incorporating an integrated sunglass holder, it’s your quick check mirror allowing you to see what the kids are up to in the back while you’re driving.
Captains Chairs
Captains Chairs provide added comfort and luxury for passengers in the second row. The second row middle seat can be easily stowed neatly under the centre console between the front seats. Armrests are then folded down to provide extra comfort. With this configuration Kluger gives you easy walk-through to access the third row seats.
In car DVD player (rear seat entertainment)
Rear seat entertainment via an in-car DVD player keeps the kids and the parents happy. Pop in a DVD, switch on the infrared wireless headphones* which come as standard on Kluger Grande and the roof-mounted 9" LCD screen will keep rear passengers entertained, so you can enjoy a peaceful drive!

Child restraints
Kluger comes fitted with Toyota’s Child Restraint System which is fully compliant with Australia’s new national restraint laws, which require children to be seated in the correct restraint type for their age and size.

Multi-zone climate control+
Toyota’s multi-zone climate control system enables you and your family to have individual control over the temperature in different parts of the cabin. The independent temperature control provides optimum comfort for the driver and front passenger with a separate control for passengers in the back.

Ergonomically considered internal car design combines a fluid, spacious interior with the solidity of an SUV. Grande and KX-S models enjoy the comfort and luxury of a leather accented interior, KX-R and KX-S models adopt a high-gloss silver interior trim finish while the Grande receives a wood-grain look. All models feature flexible seating arrangements, multiple storage compartments, rear air conditioning* and more.

Foldable seats
Kluger’s versatile interior comes with foldable seats so you have extra room on hand for things like shopping or bulky items. Clever car design means you won’t have to strain your arms or back. A simple touch of a remote release lever# and the second row seat folds completely flat, creating a large deck space.

Storage compartments
Innovative car design means plenty of storage space. Safety
Vehicle Stability Control (VSC)
VSC is a fast acting computer-based car safety system that automatically activates in emergency driving situations. It’s designed to control a front or rear-end skid when cornering. So if you ever have a rear-end skid (oversteer) in a tricky corner or your car starts to plough straight ahead instead of taking the turn (understeer), VSC automatically intervenes. It detects that you’re not on your intended path and takes corrective measures by adjusting the braking severity of each individual wheel.
Brake Assist (BA)
Emergency situations come out of nowhere and with Brake Assist, it’s easier to stop in a hurry to avoid nasty accidents. It interprets a sudden, quick push of the brake pedal as emergency braking and increases your braking pressure to reduce the braking distance so you stop sooner and with greater control.
Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD)
Car safety in Kluger is further enhanced with EBD. This electronic system improves braking effectiveness across all wheels when you have to stop abruptly. It is especially helpful when you’re coming home with extra passengers or cargo. Its sensors recognise the extra load on the rear axle, so brake pressure on the rear wheels is increased because the extra weight improves braking effectiveness.
Anti Skid Braking System (ABS)
All Kluger models come equipped with Toyota’s advanced anti-skid braking system which helps reduce the accidents that can be caused by wheel lock-up during hard braking. ABS automatically controls the brakes and helps prevent your wheels from locking up when you hit the brakes hard during an emergency stop.
Traction Control (TRC)
On wet, icy or even sandy road surfaces, the degree of traction between your tyres and the road is dramatically reduced. Kluger’s Traction Control system does for acceleration what ABS does for braking - improves your tyres’ grip on the road in poor driving conditions, especially when you’re moving off from a standing start.
SRS Airbags*
Accidents can happen and passive car safety inside the cabin is just as important as preventing an accident in the first place. As part of its considerable set of safety features all Klugers are equipped with 7 SRS airbags to help protect everyone inside.

World class passive safety
Chances are you’ll never see all of Kluger’s safety features in action, but it’s always good to know they’re there when you need them. Safety enhancements include an advanced Whiplash Injury Lessening (WIL) system with three-point Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) and clever seatbelt pre-tensioners and force limiters for the driver and front passenger that provide added protection in frontal accidents.
