Impreza Safety
Impreza has the maximum 5-star ANCAP^ occupant protection rating, as well as the top four-star pedestrian rating. This makes it the first Australian tested car to achieve the maximum double occupant and pedestrian maximum rating - and only the second car worldwide.

This achievement is in keeping with the Subaru philosophy of the best protection for all. To explain this philosophy, we have released a must-have safety guide. In every Subaru, you’ll find our renowned Subaru Advanced Driving Technology as standard. This technology dramatically improves both collision avoidance and collision protection - and its what makes Impreza a safety standout in it’s class.

For collision avoidance, it includes symmetrical All-Wheel Drive for balance and control, VDC Stability Control for greater confidence in difficult driving conditions and Anti-lock Brake Systems with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and brake assist to dramatically reduce stopping distances. Advanced collision protection is achieved through features that include a ring-shaped reinforcement body structure (to add strength and absorb energy on impact), dual front and side SRS airbags, seat belts and head restraints, and a Subaru Boxer engine that slides under, rather than into, the cabin in the event of a frontal collision.

Impreza Versatility
The car’s clever design enables greater cargo capacity. It combines stellar driving performance with flexible cargo carrying.All hatch models come fi tted with a retractable cargo security blind to protect your valuable property from prying eyes. 

The versatility of the 60/40 split rear seats in both the hatch and sedan provide greater fl exibility to accommodate large cargo. 

The rear mat and rear seat back also form a seamless covering when both seats are lowered. Loop pile carpet is used throughout the rear of the car to provide a fully carpeted cargo space.
