Ford Performance Racing Driver Gets On His Bike
31/8/2010Melbourne - V8 Supercar driver Mark Winterbottom will be swapping the steering wheel for bicycle wheels when he takes part in this year’s Ford Otway Cycling Classic in Geelong on Sunday 7, November. This year celebrates 30 years of the iconic annual cycling race, with this year's theme aiming to raise awareness of how cyclists and motorists can safely share the road together to help minimise accidents. 11/7/2010Ford Performance Racing has signaled that they are well and truly back in the 2010 V8 Supercar Championship title fight, with Orrcon Steel FPR racer Mark Winterbottom securing his second victory of the season on the streets of Townsville.His stellar performance was further enriched by his Dunlop Super Dealer FPR teammate Steve Richards cementing a fifth place and the FPR-prepared Bottle-O entry driven by Paul Dumbrell crossing the line just outside the podium in fourth place.
