7/10/2014Ford Pepsi Max Crew is confident it can go back-to-back at Bathurst this year as the team prepares for its biggest event ever. 2013 race winner Mark Winterbottom will be joined by new co-driver Steve Owen who is confident last year’s win can be repeated. After a tough Sandown Paul Morris is excited to be driving with Chaz Mostert after his fast times at the 500 brought him back from a lap down to a strong top 10 finish. Morris will compete in his 23rd Bathurst 1000 as Chaz enters his first Bathurst event with FPR.

14/9/2014Ford Pepsi Max Crew endured a tough day at Sandown though strong recovery drives reduced the impact of early race issues.Chaz drove his most impressive endurance race stint yet to come from a lap down to seventh.Paul Morris put in an error-free first stint only to lose time in his first stop due to an issue with the right-front wheel. Despite the delay he maintained a solid pace before handing over to Chaz around one-third distance.From there the rising star used raw pace and smart strategy around safety cars to finish well inside the top 10.
