Subaru XV
Subaru has confirmed that fuel-saving Auto Start Stop technology will debut on its new All-Wheel Drive XV Sub Compact Sports Utility Vehicle, going on Australian sale in January 2012.
Australian versions of the XV fun machine have been unveiled in Japan, where Subaru Australia Managing Director, Nick Senior, said every variant will feature Auto Start Stop, which also helps reduce carbondioxide (CO2) emissions.
Subaru BRZ
Subaru’s BRZ Concept-STI (Subaru Tecnica International) sports car has been unveiled at the 2011 Los Angeles International Auto Show, ahead of the month-end reveal of the production BRZ at Tokyo Motor Show.
The new rear-wheel drive compact sports car features a horizontally-opposed Boxer engine, enabling an ultra-low centre of gravity – producing what Subaru describes as a “pure handling delight.”

Subaru's next generation Impreza* has been unveiled in New York with a dynamic, stylish new look, major technical innovations, massive fuel efficiency gains and refined cabins featuring classy soft touch finishes and computerised information displays.
The keenly anticipated Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive Imprezas unveiled at the New York International Auto Show, boast huge fuel efficiency gains from the all-new 2.0 litre horizontally opposed Boxer engine.
