FPV GT-P
Building on the strong heritage of the GT nameplate, the new GT-P boasts impressive performance and outstanding driving dynamics, whilst delivering the ideal combination of high performance drivability and fuel efficiency.
The GT-P is powered by the upgraded 5.4-litre Boss V8 engine, producing 315kW of power at 6,500rpm and 551Nm of torque at 4,750rpm. Most importantly, the increased power does not compromise on fuel economy and in automatic guise; the GT-P boasts fuel economy figures of 14L/100km (ADR 81/01), a decrease in fuel consumption of 4.8 percent over the previous BF MKII model.
The GT-P features 355 x 32mm cross-drilled and ventilated front rotors with Brembo 6-piston calipers and 330 x 28mm cross-drilled and ventilated rear rotors with Brembo 4-piston calipers as standard. The GT-P also features the new TR6060 6-speed manual transmission as standard whilst offering the technologically advanced ZF 6-speed automatic transmission with Sequential Sports Shift, as a no cost option.
From a safety aspect, the GT-P comes with driver and front passenger airbags, curtain airbags plus front seat side thorax airbags, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), 4-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Beltminder technology and reverse sensing system.
Completing the package is the GT-P's bold exterior styling, including the striking new Mid or Dark Argent headlight accents, unique Silver Chrome front grille, large rear wing, side striping and the V8 bonnet bulge accented with a newly designed Boss 315 hood decal.

Engine
Introducing the new GT-P with a 32 valve, quad-cam Boss V8 engine comparable to Europe's best. The awe-inspiring Boss 315 is a powerplant unlike any other and comes to life on Australia's only current V8 engine production line.
Its 5.4-litre capacity, 32 valves and double overhead camshafts work to produce 315kW of power and a phenomenal 551Nm of torque.
The Boss 315 has been completely re-calibrated to maximize response and driveability, whilst an improvement in volumetric efficiency allows the engine to breathe better. The extra breathing capability, along with strength and durability improvements made to the engine hardware, has allowed FPV to increase the maximum revs to 6,500 rpm.
The Boss 315 engine also gives the GT-P flexibility through the gears and consequently, drivers will notice that from a standing start, the vehicle feels lighter and more responsive.
Transmission
A new six-speed manual transmission has been introduced with the FG FPV range - the new Tremec TR6060.
The Tremec TR6060 is now fitted to all manual transmission variants in the FG FPV range - replacing the T56 six-speed manual on previous V8 sedan and ute models.
The new synchroniser package features triple synchromesh on first and second gears, and double synchromesh on all other gears, including reverse, which has significantly reduced gear shift efforts and shift travel. The reduced shift travel provided by the synchroniser package has also allowed increased space for the use of larger gears, which are stronger to deliver improved torque capacity and gearbox durability.
The GT-P also features the ZF 6-speed high-torque automatic transmission with Sequential Sports Shift as a no cost option. This high-performance automatic gearbox offers the driver the best of both worlds. Its Sequential Sports Shift system allows fast, clean manual gear changes to maximize all the available power for acceleration or quick downshifts. And when in full auto mode, the adaptive shift system changes characteristics to suit your individual driving style.
Styling
The bold exterior styling of the new GT-P is highlighted by the striking new headlight accents in Mid or Dark Argent as well as the unique Silver Chrome front grille.
Large rear wing, side striping and V8 bonnet bulge accented with a newly designed Boss 315 hood decal, further compliment the performance styling of this vehicle.
The unique 19-inch wheel design was custom matched to the GT-P's premium Brembo brake package and the Alpine Silver alloy finish with Dark Argent accents completes the GT-P's high performance exterior package.
Inside, the GT-P features performance sports seats in Silverstone cloth with GT-P logo embroidery as standard with Nudo leather seats being a no cost option. The GT-P is packed with features to ensure a premium driving experience, including a sports leather steering wheel with cruise control and audio mounted switches, dual zone temperature control air-conditioning, 6-way power adjustable driver's seat, premium audio system, Bluetooth® and I-pod® integration and a reverse sensing system as standard.
