When it comes to vans, the Transit range gives you stacks of choice. There are short, medium and long wheelbase models, plus two Jumbo vans. Three roof heights, two powerful common rail turbo diesel engines, front-wheel-drive models and with the introduction of the dual-rear-wheel model*, your options grow even further.
Alternatively if it's a Cab Chassis or Bus you need we've got you covered. In the Cab Chassis range you can choose from a Single or Crew Cab, each available with a 4,490kg Gross Vehicle Mass extended frame for longer and heavier loads. Or, if you're in the business of moving people you'll be impressed with the first-class comfort Transit Bus will provide you and your customers.
So no matter how big or small the job is, there’s a Transit in the range that’ll suit your needs right down to the ground. The power to deliver
Running a business can be non-stop day in and day out. That’s why you need a van that can keep pace with your demands.
Transit’s engines tick all the boxes when it comes to power and fuel economy. Take the 2.4 litre TDCi engine with an impressive 103kW and 375Nm of torque @2000rpm. This tireless diesel is available with a six speed manual transmission on rear-wheel-drive models.
Then there’s the 2.2 litre turbo diesel TDCi. Available on front-wheel-drives, it delivers excellent fuel economy while offering 81kW of power and a handy 285Nm of torque. Whichever way you go, you'll be able to hit the ground running.
Your mobile office
Spend the best part of your day on the road and not surprisingly, comfort becomes a priority. That’s where Transit’s car-like interior is making a strong case for better working conditions.
Start with the 6-way adjustable driver’s seat providing crucial lumbar support. Then add standard features like air-conditioning, CD player with MP3 audio input, power front windows and power side mirrors plus optional cruise control with leather wrapped steering wheel*, and journeys are bound to be more relaxing. Overall, the cabin has a real feeling of spaciousness and is open to light. It’s designed specifically to help you better manage your day with attention to detail like a tray on the dashboard that provides a useful workspace, a handy carpark pass holder and two 2-litre bottle holders. Combine all this with a more than ample number of storage compartments and it’s easy to see why Transit becomes a very functional mobile office.

Safe and secure
You, your passengers and your cargo are precious. That’s why Transit more than delivers when it comes to safety.
A solid body structure offers end-to-end strength and surrounds you with a protective shell. Inside, a driver’s airbag and the latest generation ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution are standard across the range.
Plus, for added protection the optional Professional Pack includes front passenger airbag (standard on Transit Bus) Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) with Traction Control*, cruise control with leather wrapped steering wheel and reverse parking sensors#.
DSC gives you a greater ability to steer your way out of trouble. Additionally, the DSC system also includes two very important features. The first is Hydraulic Brake Assist, which on sensing an urgent brake application, increases the brake force if the driver isn’t applying sufficient pressure. And the second is Load Adaptive Control, which takes into consideration the loading condition of the vehicle and ensures the DSC is then applied accordingly. Driver and front passenger are further protected by optional front side airbags^.
In terms of vehicle and cargo security, Transit is equipped with an alarm, engine immobiliser and unique security coded keys standard on each vehicle. Transit also helps safeguard your cargo with features such as a load area protection kit on Vans~, and power door deadlocks on Van and Cab Chassis models which make it impossible to open the doors from the inside should an intruder break into the vehicle. Add it all up and you can see why Transit is a safe bet for you and your business.
