That’s because under the bonnet the 2.5L Duratec DOHC 5 cylinder 20V turbocharged petrol engine pumps out a whopping 162kW of power and a massive 320Nm of torque.
Tapping into the power is a smooth 6-speed Durashift manual transmission which really gives the driving experience another edge. Bi-Xenon headlights, unique 18" alloy wheels, rear spoiler, alloy sports pedals, sports-tuned Independent Rear Suspension and body-hugging sports leather seats with contrast red stitching complete this excitement package.
Mondeo Diesel

The Mondeo TDCi option features an advanced 2.0 Litre Duratorq 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine which, at a mere 7.3 litres per 100 kilometres,* delivers incredible economy. Performance wise, the engine features advanced common rail multi-point fuel injection, so you’re guaranteed a silky, impressively quiet driving experience backed up by plenty of torque when you need it. Diesel is available on Zetec hatch and Titanium.
