FG Falcon E-Gas

Jarvis Ford

A bigger car without the bigger fuel bill

FG Falcon E-Gas range

Who gives you a car that's big on power and small on fuel? Jarvis Ford, of course.

Now you don't need to buy a small car to pay less on fuel. That's because Ford now offers E-Gas on the Ford Falcon XR6, XT, G6, and G6E, and is the only Australian manufacturer to offer factory-fitted LPG technology.

And since the XR6 sedan on E-Gas^ is cheaper to fuel than a petrol-engine Toyota Corolla auto*, you can still own the family car you really want. The E-Gas Falcon FG range now also comes standard with Dynamic Stability Control, making it the safest Falcon ever, receiving ANCAP's 5 star safety rating.

And because E-Gas is fully integrated into the engine and instrumentation, you'll notice very similar performance levels to petrol. Of course, it's covered by your vehicle's warranty too.

Benefits of FG Falcon E-Gas:

Fully integrated dedicated LPG system

The FG Falcon dedicated LPG system is built on the factory production line, not converted afterwards, and is fully covered by your Ford new car warranty.

Optimally engineered by Ford

Falcon E-Gas is designed and enineered to run exclusivley on LPG with its integrated Electronic Control Unit, automatic shut-off valves and unique extra hard valves and seats.

Lower CO2 emissions

CO2 emmissions from an FG Falcon E-gas engine are less than an equivalent Falcon or G Series petrol engine.

No compromise

With FG Falcon E-Gas, you can enjoy fuel cost savings without comprimising on performance, luxury or comfort and Safety.

Higher re-sale value

E-Gas vehicles have shown significantly higher re-sale values than equivalent Falcon petrol vehicles. See www.redbook.com.au to compare.

^Optional E-Gas also available on Falcon XT, G6 and G6E. Optional E-Gas available on Falcon XR6 October 2009 onwards. *Percentage fuel cost savings calculated using ADR 81/02 fuel consumption figures of 14.9L/100km (Falcon XT/XR6/G6/G6E auto with optional E-Gas) and 7.5L/100km (Toyota Corolla Levin ZR 5 Door, hatch, 1.8L, 4 cylinder, 4 spd auto, source www.toyota.com.au) as at November 2009. Estimated fuel costs are calculated using the average fuel price for the six major Australian capital cities of 53.49c/L (LPG) and 117.27c/L (unleaded petrol) from November 1, 2008 to October 30, 2009. Source: www.motormouth.com.au. The estimated costs for travelling 20,000km per annum are $1,594.10 for Falcon XT/XR6/G6/G6E with optional E-Gas and $1,759.00 for Toyota Corolla. Fuel cost savings are true for the example given and changes in unleaded petrol and LPG prices will alter the cost savings calculations.
