The Force 6 is powered by the same engine as the F6 Typhoon - a turbo charged 24 valve six with an amazing 550 Nm of torque.

The Force 8 moves you with a 32 valve quad cam Boss V8, an engine comparable to Europe's best. The Force 8 is further enhanced with a unique FPV dual exhaust system and Boss V8 bonnet design.

Both offer the technologically advanced ZF 6 speed automatic transmission - a German gearbox design used by BMW and Aston Martin. This is an automatic that tailors its performance to your individual driving style, while shifting you, effortlessly.

These high performance luxury sedans feature a front fascia incorporating a contrasting tri-slot splitter, fog lamps with Bright Chrome surrounds and fins and an upper and lower Bright Chrome grille mesh featuring FPV lettering.

The Force 8 is further enhanced with a unique FPV dual exhaust system and Boss V8 bonnet design. Whilst the Force 6 showcases the F6 intercooler in silver finish, leaving no doubt that this is high performance - turbo style.

Choose between rich leather seating, finished in either Regency Red or Dark Charcoal¹. Comprehensive FPV instrumentation informs you of your progress. Stylish chrome and Dark Walnut finishes invite you into a world of luxury. A convenient memory function adjusts the 8-way power driver's seat, power side view mirrors and power pedal position for 2 unique driver positions. Rear proximity sensors and exterior mirrors that power down to make parking easier are standard.

The Prestige interior Command Centre with Premium 6 disc 150 watt sound system provides excellent sound quality. Engine

Introducing the Force 8

The Force 8 moves you with a 32 valve quad cam Boss V8, an engine comparable to Europe's best. The awe-inspiring Boss 290 is a powerplant unlike any ever built in this country and comes to life on Australia's only current V8 engine production line.

The Boss 290 was developed right here in Australia by Ford Performance Vehicles for our unique requirements and to meet the rising demands of a new breed of Aussie V8 drivers.

Its 5.4-litre capacity, 32 valves and double overhead camshafts per bank work in concert to produce 290 kilowatts of power and a phenomenal 520 Newton metres of torque. So not only is there free-revving top-end power but a wall of torque at low speeds as well. In combination with the tuned stainless steel exhaust system, it produces the trademark rumble that lets you know you're driving a real, blue-blooded Aussie V8. It has a quality that clearly communicates who exactly owns the road.

The Force 6

The Force 6 is powered by the same engine as the F6 Typhoon - a turbo charged 24 valve six with an amazing 550 Nm of torque.

The F6 270 Turbo. A 4-litre turbo-charged, intercooled, 24-valve double overhead cam six. The highest torque output of any production six ever built in Australia and one of the most powerful in the world. Through partnership with Prodrive and their mastery of turbo technology across F1 and World Rally, the development of our high performance turbo-charged FPV has changed performance cars forever. We created an engine with dramatically improved cooling and induction. The 50% larger (than XR6 Turbo) air-to-air intercooler and dual Ram Air system significantly reduces intake pressure into the turbo's compressor - allowing it to work more efficiently... and effectively.

The result. A fully engineered performance-driven power generator. Armed with double overhead camshafts and 4-valve aluminum cylinder heads, the F6 270 Turbo produces its maximum power of 270kW at 5250 rpm. However, the real story is torque. All 550Nm is on tap from just 2000 rpm and remaining constant all the way through to 4250 rpm.

At time of launch, the highest torque output of any production engine ever built in Australia. Even more staggering is the engine's ability to produce 80% of its maximum torque at 1500 rpm and over 98% at 1750 rpm. Total Performance meets the turbo.

Transmission

Both the Force 6 and Force 8 offer the technologically advanced ZF 6 speed automatic transmission - a German gearbox design used by BMW and Aston Martin. This is an automatic that tailors its performance to your individual driving style, while shifting you, effortlessly.

The ZF 6-speed automatic transmission which features Sequential Sports Shift comes standard on Force 6 and Force 8.

This high-performance automatic gearbox offers the best of both worlds. Its Sequential Sports Shift system allows the driver to make fast, clean manual gear changes to maximize all the available power for acceleration or quick downshifts. When in full auto mode, the adaptive shift system changes characteristics to suit your individual driving style.

Both transmissions are matched to a 2-piece tailshaft with shock-absorbing flex couplings, connected to a heavy-duty multi-plate limited-slip differential, transmitting maximum power to the ground.

Ride & Handling

Control Inc. Total Performance isn't just about acceleration. It's also about superior ride, handling and comfort. Both Force 6 and Force 8 come with FPV's front double wishbone suspension and independent rear suspension with multi-link Control Blade. A torque-sensitive limited slip differential and traction control leading to incredible grip, faster turn-in, better cornering balance, straight-line stability, superior safety and, for a performance vehicle, unbelievable comfort. You control the car. Not the other way round.

Brakes

The power to stop you is provided by Performance Brembo 4 piston front brake calipers and single piston rear calipers. Cooling is enhanced with cross drilled brake rotors as standard. A Premium Brembo 6 piston front and 4 piston rear brake package is available as an option.

Performance Brakes

Up front, huge 355mm x 32mm cross drilled and slotted front rotors with Brembo 4 piston calipers and 328mm x 26mm cross drilled rear rotors with red single piston calipers and are standard on Force 6 and Force 8.

Premium Brakes

For the ultimate in stopping power choose the FPV Premium brake package, which consists of 355mm x 32mm cross drilled and slotted front rotors with Brembo 6 piston calipers and 330mm x 28mm cross cross drilled rear rotors with Brembo 4 piston calipers. Optional Force 6 and Force 8.

Safety & Security

At FPV, we believe that safety is a major part of Total Performance. As such, all FPVs are monitored by Ford's advanced Intelligent Safety System. This Ford-designed high-tech software activates appropriate responses to potentially harmful road, traffic and driver situations.

The system co-ordinates the release and synchronisation of dual-stage driver and front passenger airbags, side airbags and front seat belt pre-tensioners to maximise driver and front-passenger protection in the event of a mishap. FPV's stringent safety measures also include superior braking and handling together with ABS and traction control, available on all FPV models. The safest car, of course, is the car that helps you avoid an accident in the first place.
